I don't know much of CSP but I work with Krita and there I can safely say it has everything you listed. They all have the same base functionality, even MSPaint is pretty useful (i like to make quick sketches in paint bc it takes the least time to load!) From an "Industry" perspective I think it's better than just knowing whatever the "standard" is and being unable to adapt as companies like Adobe, Maya, etc change their formats and pricing structures.

I highly recommend just continuing to check out new software are much as time/money allows you too, there's a lot of great freeware these days! It keeps you flexible and away from getting too dependant on any one program. I will say there's at least one company that's switching to subscriptions and quietly discontinuing paid licenses for the legacy software, so I understand your concern.but cross that bridge when we get there.

I use both, diversify your programs! I mean, they are all basically the same. I feel like krita's brush engine in comparable to CSP. You realize that you just listed a bunch of standard features of any digital paint and drawing program, right? Not to forget clip studio had an ability to emulate pen pressure by enabling pen pressure and then increase pen stabilization to lets say 30, Each time you draw and release your stylus the thing would automatically make like a small line and that helped to make my drawing sort of natural and other than that I rely on sketching a lot and I kinda have it slowed down to 10Īgain all I wanna know if krita has similar features if not should I still bother? I am kinda having a bit of a problem with clip studio, And recently I was planning that once clip studio moves to 2.0 and it starts receiving useful updates I might as well move to krita, I know a bit long but I am still planning to switch
